OG Maco- Lord Of Rage
From Atlanta to London, the OG Maco tour, Lord of Rage was no surprise a night never to be forgotten. The night warmed up with variety of tunes that Darq E Freaker, Snoochie Shy and Star One provided. This brought a raw energy into the basement of the Laundry, from which the atmosphere began to grow my gritty. After a long anticipated wait the 616 LORD, Milkavelli entered the stage grinning at his audience. Little did the crowd know what they were getting themselves into. Milk grabbed the mic and began business with L.I.L.Y, a song written about his love of London. The song choice and performance was marvellous as London legend Jesse James then made a surprise appearance to complete his verse on the track. As an Australian who has waited years to see these characters in the flesh, it took me a minute to comprehend the situation. However there was no time to soak up the moment as yet, another surprise guest slid through the set. Skepta, Uk Grime artist took it up another notch by putting on a show that would be unforgettable. At this point, my jaw touched the sticky surface of the Laundry as it was always a dream of mine to see Skepta in his home country. The stage was filled with their Lagion friends who brought positive vibes towards the night. Once the commotion settled, OG Maco stepped outa his frame to slap London with his raw energy. The crowd began to mosh, creating push circles and acting like animals. Maco digged deep within his catalogue to provide fans with a list of tracks that would not leave them disappointed. I can gladly say, this is a night I’ll never forget.
