There was no better way to celebrate the beginning of the new decade than being at Field Day this year! With a Jam-packed line up and 3 unique stages, Festival goers experienced an unforgettable day at the Domain in Sydney. 30 international and national acts set foot across the park to a sold-out audience on January 1st. Some of the highlights included;

IAMDDB – A 21-year-old, Manchester singer and rapper kick started the day with her rebellious attitude and wild style. Fans danced as she performed her smash hit ‘Shade’.

Lastlings – The electronic, indie and pop group formed on the Gold Coast blessed the Left Field stage by grooving between their feel-good catalogue. The group performed new music and teased fans with a release of a new project in 2020!

Hayden James – Preforming to his home city, Hayden James put on a stellar performance to a crowded Centre Field stage. The Sydney producer/song writer was not alone as he brought out special guest Running Touch to perform their song ‘Better Together’.

Playboi Carti – Atlanta Rapper, Playboi Carti, did not disappoint fans with his high energy performance. Diving between a huge catalogue of hits, fans moshed over loud bassy songs including Kid Cudi, R.I.P and Magnolia.

Skepta – London superstar, Skepta, showed his love to Australia by performing a range of tracks off his second studio album ‘Ignorance is Bliss’. Speaking between his songs, Skepta grinned and danced over the Centre Field stage.

Tyler, The Creator – Performing his first set in Sydney after a 5-year ban, Tyler entered the stage wearing his signature Igor costume. Tyler’s performance was a crowd favourite of the day.

Shoreline Mafia – LA based duo Fenix and OhGheesy rocked out the Left Field stage with their ignorant and vibrant tracks. Throwing bottles of water into the crowd and jumping from speaker to speaker the boys performed their smash hit ‘Bands’ with fans screaming every lyric.

Disclosure – Disclosure brothers, Howard and Guy Lawrence closed The Island stage in true style, performing a bunch of tracks from their hit album ‘Settle’ and 2015 album ‘Caracal’. Festival goers hoped on shoulders and smiled during their entire set.

Gunna – Rising Atalanta star, Gunna, performed a wide catalogue of hits including Hot, Outstanding, Drip too Hard and Top Off. Fans crammed themselves under the tree top stage to get a glimpse of the rapper.

Pnau – Closing the Centre Field stage, PNAU, gave fans a run for their money with a feel-good set leaving everyone dancing. You can imagine the scenes when the duo performed ‘Go Bang’.

As the festival finished for its 18th year, fans anticipate and wait for their 19th instalment in Sydney 2021!!
