Title Fight – 2015 Australian Tour

Pennsylvanian punks Title Fight are releasing their new album Hyperview, their first release with Anti- records, at the end of January.

To commemorate the occasion, the band are heading Down Under for a headline tour, proudly co-presented by triple j‘s own Short.Fast.Loud.

The band will play a huge run of shows, hitting capital cities and regional areas all over the country, including all ages shows, this June and July.

First forming in 2003 when its middle-school members first bonded over a love of spiky guitars and furious tempos, Title Fight’s line-up – bassist-vocalist Ned Russin, guitarist-vocalist Jamie Rhoden, guitarist Shane Moran, and drummer Ben Russin – went on to drop their first full-length, Shed, in 2011.

Their latest, Hyperview, saw the quartet working again with producer Will Yip and turning to new inspirations, as Ned from the band explains:

We were looking at bands like maybe Dinosaur Jr. and the Beach Boys — we were looking at the moment where they found something that had never been done before and was now being done well. We were just chasing that energy.”

You’ll be able to witness that vigour in the flesh when Title Fight land Down Under.

Tickets for all shows will go on sale Friday 23 January; head to the OzTix website for more info.
