Flight Facilities After Party
After one hell of a day covering Maroochydore Music & Visual Arts Festival and all the brilliant artists it encompassed, it was time for the after party. Old Soul on Ocean St was hosting the official after party, and I was more than exited to be heading there to shoot with the legend & all around good dude Leigh. With thousands of intoxicated patrons descending upon the shuttle bus line on our way out, coupled with circulating rumours of Flight Facilities playing a DJ set at Old Soul, we knew we were in for a big night.
After a rather entertaining ride on the shuttle bus, we turned up just in time to see Flight Facilities getting out of their transfer car and walking in. Pretty good timing I must admit. The line up was snaking down around the corner already, and it was barely 11:30. Our thoughts about how the inside of Old Soul was looking was quickly confirmed, with hundreds of people inside dancing to funky music under the disco ball. The music at Old Soul really is something else, an undeniably good vibe every time it seems.
The rest is history. I love festivals, and I can’t really complain about after parties either. What a day!
