Section Boyz – 02 Academy Brixton

2016 has seen the rise of many UK artists as doors have been opened allowing individuals to share their creativity and style with the help of the internet. Section Boyz are a prime example of this movement as they have doubled their fan base over a short time period. Following the release of their mixtape Don’t Panic, The South London boys have shown great momentum within their music. The execution that this group delivers is appealing to a larger scale of people situated around the globe.

The headlining show took place in their home town on the 8th of December 2016. The night was filled with raw energy and special guests. Fekky, Lethal Bizzle, Krept and Konan and Aj Tracey all made appearances throughout the night. Each track was performed with energy as fans created moshpits while jamming to their beats. I soon realised that there is no mercy at a Section Boyz show as I lost count of how many girls were pulled over the barrier by security. The boys performed a huge catalogue of hits dating back to their original work in 2014. Fans were also lucky enough to hear snippets from their up and coming projects set to be released in 2017. Overall the night was extremely enjoyable as viewers gained a better understanding of the group and their style. I would suggest that you keep your eyes open for Section Boyz as they prepare to outdo themselves in 2017.
