Wiz Khalifa
Superstar ganja enthusiast, Wiz Khalifa ignited flames on his Brisbane audience during his opening leg of his second visit downunder. Khalifa burnt the house down when he ran out on stage to Talyor Gang following a mixture of hits from wide catalogue of projects. His set included music from Kush and Oranges Juice, Rolling Papers, Taylor Allderdice, 28 Grams, Blacc Hollywood and an assortment of singles such as Burn Slow, The Thrill, That Good and Lit. Wiz also previewed a new song from Rolling Papers 2; The Weed Album titled “King Of Everything”. This song was later made public when he decided to release it via Soundcloud 2hrs after his show. The track has received excellent reviews around the world among HipHop Blogs.
A live band joined Wiz on stage with a backdrop profiling multiple articles addressing his recent drug-related arrests and chart successes. Wiz brought energy into the room as he bounded around the stage, throwing up gang signs and lobbing bottles of water into the crowd. A strong connection was formed between Wiz and his fans as he shook hands, stood on sound equipment and posed for pictures. No one was left disappointed as he concluded his set with his most recent No.1 hit single; See You Again which tributes to the late Paul Walker and features on the Fast and Furious 7 soundtrack.
As the performance was wrapping up, Wiz took a minute to say thank you to his fans before informing them that he will be back again.
